Implant-supported dentures are more efficient in chewing and biting as compared to conventional dentures. 2-4 Implants are placed in the jaw-bone. After the healing phase, a locator-implant attachment or a bar attachment helps to stabilise the dentures. 2 Implants with locators is the minimum requirement.
